SCU
System Communication Unit (SCU) | Flash memory (2 hours) | Hard disk memory (1000 hours)
The SCU serves as digital audio memory for Honeywell’s Variodyn D1 PAVA system. Connection to the Variodyn D1 can be established via the Ethernet. This unit can be used to log and record announcements which can be saved on the hard drive, and backed up with date, time and activation details. The system also allows for automatic temporary storage and playback of interrupted messages.

The DOM4-8 is the central control element of the Variodyn D1. It is equipped with 4 independent audio outputs to access 4 channels, and operates 2 zones (8 circuits total). Any complex system configuration can be implemented through the networking of multiple DOM4-8s via the Ethernet.

Compatible with the Variodyn D1 PAVA system, the 2XD400 power amplifier is controlled by its DOM4-8 or DOM4-24 Digital Output Module. Both LF inputs and control input are connected to the DOM via a cable. A mains cable is provided with the system.
